Project Highlights
We made these 3D pitch frames for the Beijing 2022 Olympics broadcast branding package. We imagined an ice chip elemental skittering through China’s most recognizable landmarks near Beijing, bringing the spirit of the Olympic games through the land. Frames feature the San Shan Bridge (Olympic bridge), Great Wall of China, Beijing–Zhangjiakou intercity railway, Tianmen Mountain, and the famous 99 Turns road.

Behind the Curtain
99 Turns Road
Near Tianman Mountain in China is the legendary 99 turns road, depicted in many of these frames. It’s said that the 99 turns represent the 9 palaces of heaven.
