We had the opportunity to create the premiere showcase animation for Dell’s new line of convertible laptops. We created about 50 shots for a four minute showcase,  including a volumetric environment featuring 3D shafts of light. Texture artwork was not available, so we had to create textures from our own photography. Volumetric lighting and background gradients were achieved in compositing with noise on planes viewed through the animation cameras.
