Spider-Man joins the fun
Wizards of the Coast debuted their partnership with Marvel to bring Spider-Man and the associated characters to a special version of Magic: The Gathering card game. The Ramones’ epic Spider-Man theme sets the mood, reminiscent of 90’s animation and Magic: The Gathering illustrations.

We experimented with various techniques to bring a painterly illustrated look to the characters. We used painted normal maps to give the surface effect or paint strokes.
